The Ops-Core AMP Helmet Rail Mount Kit allows users to mount the AMP communication headset directly to any helmet with Ops-Core's ARC rails. The helmet mounts to the rear arms of the ARC rail and frees up valuable ARC rail space for other mission-essential equipment like lights and other accessories.
Because the Ops-Core AMP headset is mounted to the rear of the helmet, it provides additional rear ballast and counterweight and removes the need to run an additional counterweight (if a night vision battery pack is also used - weight dependent). The AMPs, when helmet-mounted, also provide additional stability to the user's head.
The AMP Helmet Rail Mount kit features fully rotating cups so the AMP headset molds perfectly to each user's unique head geometry and provides the most optimal ear seal. Finally, the AMP Helmet Rail Mount kit allows the headset to swing completely out of the way when not in use as well as swivel 360 degrees so they tuck in next to the helmet counterweight/battery pack
